born in bari in 1992. she attended the classical high school, during which she approached the world of photography as a self-taught artist. in 2010, for the label discipline recordings, she photographed cellist tina guo and obtained her first two publications in national outlets such as la repubblica and il corriere della sera.

in 2011, she enrolled in the photography course at the istituto europeo di design, where she graduated in 2014, and simultaneously began working as an assistant to photographer michele de andreis. during her third year, she entered the world of commercial photography, completing her first commissioned works.

four years followed as an assistant at the archive of maria mulas, which allowed her to develop skills in the field of contemporary art as an archivist and curator, while also dedicating herself to her personal research.

in 2018, together with andrea tomasetig, maria canella and antonella scaramuzzino, she curated a solo exhibition of the artist at palazzo morando (milan).

she subsequently developed the research elaborated during her years in the archive, giving life to a photographic series set in switzerland and focused on the relationship between body and space, titled "espaches," published online by vogue italia.

in 2019, some shots from the series were purchased by audi and exhibited on via monte napoleone (milan) during the photo vogue festival (dec 3rd–jan 8th).

in 2020, at the giardini porta venezia, she exhibited a project created specifically for audi during the photo vogue festival (nov 9th–19th).

since 2020, she has been a visiting professor at the spaziotempo school in bari, where she teaches research and project methodology.

in 2021, the museo marino marini invited her to hold a solo exhibition as part of the metaluce exhibition curated by mario nanni, founder and creative director of the company viabizzuno (july 21–october 18).

in 2022, thanks to a meeting in new york with curator shai baitel, her international career in portraiture and documentation began, working with artists he represents, including marina abramovic, bob dylan and kenny scharf.

to this day, this collaboration continues alongside clara's work in italy. among her clients: gucci, moncler, antonioli, audi, kiton, loro piana, nike, timberland and viabizzuno.

she has published with: skira, d la repubblica, vogue italia, artribune, l'officiel and others.
