viaggiandopercostruirsi is a traveling master program aimed at training scrittoridellaluce through direct experience of places. a journey that weaves together travel and design, study and practice, theoretical and practical knowledge. light is both guide and companion: a physical, poetic, and functional matter, explored by walking through cities, observing architectures, museums, squares, shops, religious sites, and everyday spaces. each stop becomes an opportunity to understand how light shapes space and how space gives meaning to light.

lo scrittoredellaluce is trained while traveling: philosophy, art, history, design, physics, photography, theater, and virtual reality become tools for understanding and design. every concept is experienced live, with the eyes, hands, and listening.

objectives and contents

the program aims to develop in each student:

  • a method based on observing the world and direct experience of places
  • the ability to read reality and transform it into design with autonomy and awareness
  • transversal competence, capable of intertwining technique, thought, and beauty

methodology and workshops

the teaching methodology of the master viaggiandopercostruirsi is based on direct experience of places, immersive learning, and the centrality of travel as a tool for personal and professional growth.

from the very beginning, each student is invited to design by observing and experimenting with light in the cities visited: squares, museums, public and private spaces become open-air laboratories, opportunities to engage with real-world complexity. students are encouraged to explore, make mistakes, correct themselves, and discover. theoretical skills, from philosophy to physics, from art history to technology, become tools to apply and test in the field, integrating them into projects as they progress.

students walk, observe, draw, photograph, build, write, and listen. light is matter to shape, thought to translate, presence to convey.

projects accompany students through all stages of the journey, gradually becoming more complex, more articulated, more profound. culminating in the final project, the thesis of the scrittoredellaluce, which collects and tells the story of the entire journey.
