on february 7 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, marionannischolé opens the doors of its headquarters at via santo stefano 94 in bologna for an open day that goes beyond traditional lighting designer education.
the event, held during art city bologna, represents a unique opportunity to discover a new profession of the future: the scrittoredellaluce®. a professional figure that goes beyond the boundaries of the classic lighting designer, moving between architecture, design, art, and space with an interdisciplinary approach to light.
meetings start every hour: 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm, and 6:00 pm. each session begins with an exclusive guided tour led by master mario nanni inside museo virgola, a research space and archive of the culture of light. a journey through works, environments, and installations to understand light as language, experience, and project.
this is followed by the presentation of marionannischolé, the first school dedicated to the education of scrittoridellaluce. the educational programs will be presented: the three-year course progettarevocedelverboamare and the specialized master programs designed for those who want to go beyond the traditional role of the lighting designer.
