the three-year program progettarevocedelverboamare aims to train scrittoridellaluce: new and necessary figures, capable of inhabiting projects with awareness, ethics, and beauty.
it is an interdisciplinary field, grounded in the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical application, and developed across the arts, sciences, and technologies. light—understood as the living matter of thought and action—is examined in all its dimensions: physical, poetic, spiritual, and functional.
the education of the scrittoredellaluce combines study with direct experience: philosophy, art, history, graphic design, photography, physics, mechanics, electronics, architecture, design, theater, writing, and virtual reality serve both as instruments of knowledge and as tools for creation.
the program follows a workshop-based approach, where every concept is explored through practice, perception, and attentive observation.
the program aims to develop in each student a method based on observation,
listening, precision, and the skill of working with one’s hands.
it fosters the ability to read reality and transform it into a project with depth,
rigor, and independence, cultivating a transversal competence that unites
technique, thought, and beauty.

the teaching methodology of marionannischolé is founded on direct experience,
immersive learning, and the centrality of the project as a tool for personal and professional growth.
from the very beginning, each student is called to experiment with design:
exercises in vision and construction, opportunities to immediately engage
with all the elements that contribute to the realization of a project.
students are encouraged to experiment, to make mistakes, to correct themselves, to discover.
theoretical knowledge — from philosophy to physics, from art history to technology —
is not delivered as information to be memorized but as tools to be put into practice,
integrating them into the projects at every step.
work is done with the hands, with materials, with words.
students observe, draw, build, study, write, and listen.
light is matter to be shaped, thought to be translated, presence to be restored.
projects accompany the student throughout the entire three-year program,
becoming progressively more complex, more articulated, more profound —
until the final project, the thesis of the writer of light,
which gathers and narrates the entire journey.
the course concludes with the development of an individual thesis project. a work that represents the synthesis of acquired knowledge, the ability to observe and transform light into thought, space, and vision.
to access the aptitude interview and the admission test,
the following documentation is required:
high school diploma
english b1 certification (alternatively: oral verification interview)
motivation letter (mandatory)
portfolio (optional)
admission takes place through a selective interview and an oral and written aptitude test
in general knowledge, with particular focus on art history, architecture history,
and design history.
the tests will assess:
aptitude for research and experimentation
observation and analytical skills, essential for studying light as a design element
interdisciplinary sensitivity, with an interest in the connections between art, science, philosophy, and technology
interest in the subject, demonstrated through a motivation letter and an optional portfolio
a b1 level of english is also required.
the tests will take place starting from april 2026.
the three-year program has limited enrollment, with a maximum of 25 participants, to ensure a personalized learning experience.
the following are available:
scholarships will be awarded based on the results of the admission tests. in case of equal merit, the candidate with the lower isee indicator will be favored, upon presentation of the required documentation.
at the end of the program, a three-year diploma certificate is awarded, attesting the completion of an advanced training program in the field of interdisciplinary design and light research. the diploma certifies the acquisition of technical and methodological skills applicable in areas such as architecture, design, lighting design, and visual arts, providing tools for an innovative and critical approach to design. the educational path, strongly oriented towards experimentation and multidisciplinarity, prepares participants to face complex scenarios, with particular attention to the integration of technology, material, and the language of light.
the three-year program progettarevocedelverboamare trains for the profession of the future,
the writer of light, who applies their knowledge in the following fields:
at the end of the program, marionannischolé will offer students the opportunity to undertake internships at leading design studios and professional organizations in the sector.
